The File Cabinet

In my nearly 20 years of working parts (as of writing this), one thing which always gets me is how unknowledgable people can be about the things they own. I've also never understood why manufacturers aren't more free with information which could only help the consumer, especially when the product is discontinued and no longer supported. Perhaps they feel they're helping their dealers but I can tell you one of the best things a person can do is have the necessary information available the first time. This put the onus of ordering the correct part on the consumer who is likely to know more about what they're looking for that the parts personnel on the other side of the counter. But, I digress, and the soap box is getting tired.

In my years of gathering projects (guys gather projects like squirrels gather nuts), I have searched out and found many a document which has been a help in some form. Some were sussed out fairly quickly, others...not so much. Time and money went into a few and, while I could always resell what I bought, the fact of the matter is I'm not here to make money but to help my poor bretheren with their similar projects (we have to stick together). Use the information as you will - I take no responsibility if you botch it up but, if you're like me, you likely understand the risks in undertaking oddball projects.

Everything here *should* be in the public domain and can probably be found elsewhere online. I simply present to you a one-stop thrift shop for your information needs.
